Programs

  • Our Spelling, Reading and Comprehension programs are based on the Spalding method© which was derived from the Orton-Gillingham© multisensory structured language approach designed for dyslexics.

  • Lessons are designed around research on the neurological formation, storage and retrieval of memory.

  • This type of approach is essential for effective tuition for children and adults with dyslexia or learning difficulties that may be associated with auditory processing, visual processing, working memory or phonemic awareness issues.

HANDWRITING

Hand writing aids in muscle memory and is a basic tool that is linked to the achievement in reading and spelling.

The correct grip and hand position on the page must be addressed when the child begins to write.  This will prevent poor habits forming which may lead to muscular fatigue.
