Dyslexia. Program dev.

 

 

• Dyslexia can be both devastating and spectacular and everything in between. 

• My empathy with each client runs very deep as I have experienced their pain, frustration and humiliation just as I have experienced their pleasure, joy and elation.

• I have studied and researched dyslexia and learning difficulties over the past 20 years and designed programs to suit individual learning styles during this time. Many of my programs have been used by teachers and teacher aides to provide continued support for the child in the school environment.

• My programs and assessments are unique and are designed around the clients prefered way of learning. 

•  I explore many facets of the learning process and the effects that some foods, stresses, environment, family dynamics and learning deficits may have on the individual. I have a list of trusted professionals that I may refer clients to if I feel that it will improve the client’s success rate.

• I offer programs for parents. These are 1 hour, group classes where parents can discuss their child’s learning difficulties. Learn how to tutor their child with weekly guidance.  Group sizes: 7 -10 people.  For those on a budget this is a pleasurable alternative.

• I offer programs for home schoolers.

• I will liaise with teachers, schools and professional care providers, at the parent’s request.

To enhance learning outcomes Jenny designs her programs around research dedicated to understanding the memory process. These activities are reinforced with successful outcomes at the end of each session to improve emotional and educational outcomes.
